Yesterday I painted the living room, dining room, hall and stairway. It was a taping nightmare. The reason I look so awesome in this picture is because I spent 10 hours straight prepping and painting the house and never got a shower.
Dad was a gem. He ran all the kids to their various activities and kept them entertained the entire afternoon. I even took the curtains down and washed them so now our upstairs is like new.

We are so excited about the results that the kids and I have already been scheming about which rooms to do next. As long as the bug lasts I might as well paint every room in the house and get my spring cleaning done at the same time. I wonder how many more rolls of tape I will need.

OOOO! I love it! I'm actually in the process of deciding on a which shade of tan, which I love the one you picked -- What was the brand and color name? I know I want to at least paint the front room, but I'm wondering about the hallways and stairways too! Too funny!
10 hours, that is the part I'm not looking forward to -- PREP! I've acutally wanted to do this for a couple years! It has just taken this long for me to get the gumtion up to do it! HA HA HA It is beautiful!
Your house is beautiful--and you have inspired me!
Wow! Very impressive! Blue tape is not cheap, either! That's a lot of painting, and the prep work on the railing looked like a nightmare! It looks great! Happy Bday to the little one, too!
*Clapping* Great job Julienne!
Ditto, Wow! I'm so impressed. I hope I can do something like that in our new house. I've wanted to paint this house but so far no luck.
It looks beautiful! What a lot of work! It makes me tired just thinking about it, but I hate painting. For my birthday this year I am asking my family to paint my bedroom--that would be the best gift.
I LOVE it! I wish I could have helped... you know I love to paint. It's so immediately satisfying. Miss you guys!
Wow! Big project! Looks gorgeous!
