My friend Kristen invited our family to a fantastic Easter party last Saturday. It was decorated so nicely and the activity for the kids was so original. After they had grabbed as many plastic eggs as they could, they were given paper and pencil to make words out of the letters on their eggs. They loved that added fun. Later in the party the kids put together a game of Red Rover. I had so much fun watching them try to crash through each other's arms...that is until J Man clotheslined himself. He didn't cry though, just kept playing.
We are so glad to have so many awesome friends here. The kids have so many wonderful friends who are not only great playmates, but great examples to them. I love our friends.
Kristen, thanks for being such an awesome hostess and for putting so much time into your Easter party. We had a blast!!!

Oh, how FUN!! What a great idea to have an Easter Party!
I love a good party. I need to get invited to one, because I don't have the energy to put one on. :)
So fun! That's a great game idea too! The weather was so perfect also, I was so grateful for the sunny weekend. I love the pictures- your children are so sweet. You guys are awesome friends for everyone to have!
I really enjoyed your last two posts also- thanks for sharing each experience. I needed the reminder to notice and be more grateful for the little blessing I receive each day... I am so excited for you starting your garden as well as slowing things down, it is such a blessing to have the spirit in our lives to help comfort us in decision making.
I just found your blog via another blog where you mentioned your son has nystagmus. We just adopted our sweet son from Ethiopia who has been diagnosed with congenital nystagmus. I feel as if his opthamologist (whom I really liked) is not very proactive. I am just concerned we are missing something... Anyway not to leave you a novella - I was excited to find you!
