We had a great time Halloween night. We carved pumpkins, ate our traditional pumpkin shaped pizza, and went out trick or treating. Richard spent the whole time raving about how great the candy was in our neighborhood and how there were a few homes in his neighborhood as a child that were great places to get good candy. That's a guy for you. He wasn't excited to eat any of the kids' loot or anything.
After the candy gathering, we went to the high school to watch Roseburg's last home game, to see if they would go to the playoffs. They ended up winning. Go Indians.
So, all in all it was a fun evening followed by an even better morning. Breakfast was found in little pumpkin shaped bags. Mmm.

I have to say that I indeed was excited about the size and number of candies that the kids were getting at each house. Being the nerd that I am, I saw it as an "efficiency ratio": the number of candies per house visited was very high. That meant that we could be done with Halloween and off to the football game sooner!!!
They all look great in their costumes and the pizza sure was cute!
Hey Vances! Looks like you are enjoying Oregon so far! Adjusting to the rain? Great pictures!
You're having so much fun, you'll never miss Provo!
You're funny! First, the cake was fab - much fancier than anything I'd create. Secondly, at least you got a clean floor with your clean dishes! And finally, I want to know what breakfast you serve in a paper bag! Email it to me!
...our Halloween breakfast consisted of breakfast in some old pillow cases. What? There's protein in chocolate right?
Cute costumes! How fun!
