Another Fun Activity

We got tennis rackets from my mom for Christmas this year. Who knew you could have so much fun playing tennis without much experience. Dad and three of the kids played doubles on one court and I played against the wall with the others. Even the four year old had fun with her little Dora racket. I love it!!

12 Years and More in Love Than Ever

My honey and I just celebrated our 12 wedding anniversary. I love this first picture because it captures our relationship perfectly, we are so close and I lean on him for everything!! I couldn't have asked for a better companion to spend life with. I still get so excited waiting for him to come home or thinking about going out on a date with him.

He is such a support to me. He listens endlessly to my babbling, he is such a good example to me that just being around him makes me want to be a better person. He is sooo patient. He is super fun with the kids and plans lots of fun activities for us. He has always provided well for our family and has great financial sense. He loves to serve in the church and is a worthy priesthood holder. He loves to share the gospel and I can't wait to serve a mission with him. He loves education and is constantly teaching all of us.

I am so in love and am glad I get to spend the rest of eternity with my best friend.

New Years Eve 2010

We barely got back from Camp Z in time for our New Year's party with some of our good friends. A traffic jam in Portland set us back a good hour. Anyhow, we made it and had a great time playing games, eating snacks and toasting in the new year (with juice of course!!)

A Little Piece of Heaven

After Christmas this year our entire family got together up in Washington at Camp Z and had a blast. This was the first year that we had the lodge and so there was plenty of space for all. All 9 of my siblings were there, plus 20 grandchildren and spouses. Wow, it was a party. We ate a lot, played games, sledded, skied, watched movies, lost sleep, but most of all just enjoyed being with one another. I am so blessed to have such a fantastic family. I love you all!!

Christmas With Family

This year for Christmas we were so fortunate to host my mom, her fiance Keith (from Perth Australia) and my brother and sister Doug and Jody. They spent the entire week before Christmas with us. It couldn't have been more fun. We played games and did puzzles, swam and did gymnastics at the Y, took some walks, sang silly Aussie Christmas songs, ate a lot of good food, watched movies, did our traditional Christmas eve and day activities and meals and added a really nasty meal of baked beans on rye toast. Sorry Keith, but I didn't like it at! :) It was such a great time and we had so much fun with everyone. Thanks for sharing the holidays with us!!

She's Eight Years Old!!

Little L celebrated her eighth birthday quite a few times this year. The first celebration was in November when we went to get her ears pierced, and shopped for some boots and jewelry. We did this knowing that December gets crazy and we didn't want all those fun things to get forgotten.

One week before her real birthday she had a party with some friends. Then, the day after her birthday (Dec. 16) she celebrated again with her Grandma Vance on her grandma's actual birthday. Two days after that was her baptism and her Grandma Baughman came into town with her fiance Keith, Aunt Jody and Uncle Doug. It was a lot of celebrating for a very special girl. We love you cutie. Happy Birthday. We are so happy you got to be baptized!
