Uncle Russ's Birthday

Uncle Russ came for a visit and we celebrated his 31st birthday.  This was his yummy cake that he requested.  He also requested fajitas for dinner and his present was notes from everyone and money to spend at his favorite place to eat, the taco truck!  It was so fun that he came for a visit!  We LOVE uncle Russ!!!

Mom is 40!!

For my 40th birthday Dad made a fantastic roast dinner and my friend Sandy brought over the best cheesecake ever!  The next day, to celebrate, the 5 oldest kids came on a hike up the Incline with Mom and Dad.  It was an intense hike and a great challenge for everyone.  The hike is stairs that are about a mile long and climb 2000 feet.  Mr. M and I reached the top in a little over 40 min.  It was fun to see everyone complete the hike, no matter how hard!  It was a great birthday!!

Boating with Friends

Just after school started some friends invited us to go boating with them.  It was such a fun day and everyone, including parents, did surfing behind their boat.  We're lucky to have such good friends!!

YMCA Job

In August Mom stared working at the YMCA.  I work on the fitness floor showing people how to use the equipment, giving people orientations and advising them on how to set up a fitness program.  I conduct InBody assessments where people learn how much body fat they have and muscle mass, etc. to help them decide how to better set goals for themselves.  I also get to just chat with people and help them feel happy and welcome.  Our facility is only a few years old and just went through a huge remodel so it is nice and new!  I love working there.  It gives me a lift each day.  My shifts are from 5-9 :00 a.m. so Dad gets the kids off to school.  It is a great schedule for our family and a great job for me!

Stephens Family

My good friend, Nathan Stephens, and his family were in town visiting family and stopped by for a visit.  It was so fun to see him and to chat with his fun wife JoLee and their cute boys.

Haslam Family

On our way home from California we stopped in Payson to see Dad's sister, Aunt Kim, and her cute family.  They put us up for the night and fed us fantastic food!  Grandma Vance came down to see us one more time too.  They were great hosts!

Baughman Sibs Reunion

We had the BEST vacation ever this summer in California!!  I don't know if we will ever have a vacation quite as fun as this one was.  It was anticipated for years and exceeded our expectations.  We went to Disneyland and California Adventure with our cousins (thanks to Russ for the great military discount tickets.)  Aunt Susie made the parks so much fun by working the fastpass system and running miles every day procuring the passes for everyone.  The kids never stood in a line for much more than 15 minutes all three days.  It was amazing!!

We stayed in a fantastic house in Anaheim that Aunt Katy was generous enough to get for us (and payed a good portion of.)  We got to visit the LA temple where our parents and grandparents were sealed and the kids did baptisms for family names that J Man and Baby R found.  We went to Laguna and Huntington Beaches and had a BLAST boogie boarding and playing in the sand.  It was the vacation of our lives!!!

These cute boys had so much fun with their matching mouse ears, especially when they lit up at night.

We had so much fun thanks to awesome Aunt Susie!!

J Man and Baby R are holding up papers that have the family names they found just for this temple trip.  This is the group that did the baptisms.

Boogie boarding was so much fun!!

This kid (Big B) would not let me out of his sight the whole trip.  It was Aunt Susie that could distract him and help him be happy when mommy wasn't around.

This was our cleaning fairy.  Sometimes she would clean in her swimming suit. Haha.

Aunt Katy brought a bunch of scrapbooking supplies for the kids.  They had so much fun creating their books!!

Cute girls doing nails.
