Jody and Trey's Wedding

My youngest sister Jody was married on 12-21-12.  It was the most beautiful wedding with two of my absolute favorite people in the world.  Congratulations!!  Here are about 50 pictures (and that is fewer than I would have liked to have taken, considering my battery died half way through the morning!)

Happy 10th

Little L had her 10th birthday in December.  It is funny how we have all thought of her as being 10 already because she is just so grown up .  She planned the cutest party and made adorable invitations.  The girls made gingerbread houses, played games and then did cake and ice cream.  They all got to take a purple balloon home (Little L's favorite color.)  I was so proud of her for planning such a cute party.  Happy birthday cute girl!!

Grandma and Pa's Visit

Grandma Baughman and Pas came for a visit early in December.  The kids had a lot of fun playing the piano with grandma and playing the ipad with Pas.  We made gingerbread houses and Grandma brought a nativity craft that she did with the kids.  It was a great visit with them!!  Thanks for coming!

One Month Old

Our Big B has been such a good baby.  He sleeps well, tolerates all our noise and doesn't even mind being passed from sibling to sibling.  We love him so much!!

The only difficulty we have had has been trying to get him back up to his birth weight.  At one month he is still 5 oz below his birth weight and apparently he was supposed to be there at two weeks.  I have had to supplement my feedings with some formula.  He is just a relaxed guy, not really in a hurry to get a meal.  I am not really worried, and hopefully next week he will make weight and then the doctor and lactation lady will relax a little.

Here are some picts. to enjoy.  We love this little guy!!!

Thanksgiving Feast and Fun!!

This year for thanksgiving Aunt Katy came for a visit.  It was so much fun to have her at our house!  She did great crafts with the kids, rented some fun movies to watch, did a lot of cleaning and dishes, gave me someone to talk to non-stop, and spoiled us all rotten.  Sisters are the best!!

Dad did all the cooking for the weekend, which was a huge break for me.  We love having our dad around!!  He played games with the kids, took them to the movies and gave me a chance to go shopping with my sister.

It was a great weekend!!

Look at J Man.  He is making sure that Aunt Katy doesn't miss blowing out her birthday candles!!

I think the help got a little carried away with sampling the food!

A round of Apples to Apples.

Aunt Katy showing everyone how to make candy turkeys.  The candied fruit on the table was a big hit.  Dad insisted we buy it because it was a tradition that Grandpa B always had that candy at his house on Thanksgiving.  We ate all three boxes in a day.

Great-Grandma Vance's traditional Heavenly Hash.  It turned out perfect!!

Notice the girls' hair in this picture.  Aunt Katy styled it for them.  The turkeys turned out cute.

J Man's turkey lost its nose.

It was nice having such a helpful sister around, doing my dishes and cleaning my house.  You can come back any time Katy!!

Getting ready for the feast!

Thanksgiving Feast!!

Big B with the bib and hat my friend Marci sent him.

You see why we call her Cutie Katie!  Come again any time sister, we can go to Target!!

Aunt Leanne's Visit

We were so excited to get a visit from my best friend Leanne.  She came with gifts for all the kids, spoiled me with tons of yummy Italian food and loved Big B to death!!  We were so happy to have her cheerful, happy self in our home!!  Come again Leanne, and bring Andrew next time!!!!

Isn't she beautiful!!
