Our New House

After a year of searching we finally found a better home for our family.  Dad was inspired to look in a different city about 40 minutes away which we hadn't even considered.  He found a wonderful house that we all fell in love with and it fits our family and needs perfectly!  It backs up to a golf course which gives the kids acres of land to play on.  We LOVE it!!

The front of the house.  It is in a cul de sac which is really nice!

February Birthdays

Happy Birthday to our February birthdays!  Dad turned 39 and Lady K turned 13.  She chose to have lemon meringue pie.  Yum!

Goodbye to Friends

Just after New Year's, Dad and I found a home that was perfect for our family which meant leaving all of our good friends and moving 40 minutes away.  It was hard to say goodbye!

Mom's good friend Kat and her daughter who made this fun candy poster.  They presented it at a goodbye party the ward put on for us to say goodbye.

Mr. M and some of his good friends at a party they planned for him.

Last Basketball Season

Mr. M declared this to be his last basketball season.  He played with a good team and had some fantastic moments on the court.  He became really good at rebounding, swatting the shots away and defending.  Way to go bud!  We will miss watching you on the court!

7th Birthday

Baby R turned 7 in January.  She planned the cutest party ever.  She started by making the whole plan (she is very organized and detail oriented) and taking hours to hand write her invitations to her friends.  We started the party by driving around and picking up each of her friends because she wanted to give them all a ride in our 15 passenger van.  We drove to the swimming pool and everyone got to swim and have fun while Little L and her friends helped me to supervise all the girls.  After swimming we had pizza and cupcakes and then presents.  After all the fun we loaded up and dropped each girl off at her house.  It was a fantastic party and so well planned out by our big 7 year old.  Happy Birthday cutie!!

Pinewood Derby

J Man had his first pinewood derby last month.  He helped cut the wood, painted it by himself and drew the lightening bolts all by himself.  It was intense competition but in the end he was second in his age bracket.  He was one happy cub!

7th Grade Basketball

Lady K had a great basketball season with her 7th grade team.  She is a fantastic player and a great asset to her team.  They played their hearts out this season and only lost a couple of games.  Lady K held her own with these girls, all of whom play year round on club teams.  Way to go!
