Fall Sports

We had a very busy fall with four of the older kids in sports and Mr. M in the pep band for the football team.  It is great to see the kids improving and doing so well in their sports.

First year in tackle football.  He was amazing and the coaches complimented him on his athleticism.  He was the sacking and tackling king.  He learned to sprint hard to get to the ball carrier and even had one of the other team coaches say that he was the only one who has ever broken through their line (and he did it multiple times!)

These two were AMAZING in cross country this year.  They both improved a ton with each race, culminating in a great final race where Lady K came in 8th in the district and was the third runner for her team.  Little L was 14th in the district.  They both had a fantastic final race and season!

This little lady was amazing on the soccer field.  She was by far the most aggressive and speedy kid on the field and every game she had a firm goal to get a goal.  She scored quite a few goals throughout the season and was the one to get a winning goal in one of the games.  She is an intense competitor!

Mom's Best Birthday EVER!!

This year for Mom's birthday the kids surprised her by cleaning the entire house.  It was spotless!  Mom spent the money she and Dad would have used to eat out on some fun Chineese food for the whole family to enjoy.  It was great to share the day as a family.

Dance Festival

The oldest two worked really hard for months learning dances and songs for the area dance festival put on by our church.  It was an incredible experience for both of them and they did really well!

Visit to Vancouver

After our Baughman reunion we drove up the coast with Doug and Reid's families and went to the Tillamook Cheese factory.  It was fun to see how they make cheese, sample some and get an ice cream from the dairy.

After the cheese factory we headed over to Vancouver to see Gary's family.  Grandma and Dad's sisters were there too.  We had a great time with them catching up, picking blueberries and playing in the Columbia River.

Baughman Family Reunion

This summer we drove the LONG two days to get to the Oregon Coast for a Baughman family reunion.  Aunt Katy and Aunt Jody did one day of the road trip with us.  Out on the coast we had a great time with our extended family, stayed in a fun group of cabins and enjoyed the green of Oregon once again!  It was a fantastic time!

Just a little cold for swimming, unless you are brave and go in the water on a dare!

He got the football with a tee that he had been asking for and a lot of other fun things from the fam.

Apparently you can buy pumpkin pie in July.  This was what he wanted instead of cake!
