Grandma is Here!!
Grandma Vance came for a visit right after the baby was born. She cooked and cleaned, played and chatted for a whole 10 days! It was heaven. I don't recall ever lifting a finger to do anything. I've never been so spoiled in my life! I appreciated the help so much!! We planned her trip so that she could also attend Baby R's baptism and the baby's blessing. Uncle Russ came too and it was a great family time!!

The Final Installment
On February 13th I was induced and had baby number 7. Jacob Douglas weighed 9lbs 5oz. His labor was, of course terrible, as all labors are but it was without incident for which I am very thankful. I was given pitocin at 8:00, had my membranes ruptured at noon and he came around 2:00 p.m. He is a wonderful addition to our family. I've decided I am too old for this and don't plan to have any more children and so this is the final installment!! We LOVE our cute new little brother!!
| Heading to the hospital |
| He had some blood in his lungs that came from a clot that came out when he did so they suctioned him quite a bit. No harm done. Here he is after all the craziness! |

Surprise 8th Birthday!!
Christmas Break
Christmas break was so much fun this year! We did a lot of fun activities and really enjoyed Christmas. I think the kids were more spoiled this year than ever before. I got a little carried away with shopping and got them almost everything on their wish list. I told them to enjoy it because that will never happen again!! It was so much fun to have such a great Christmas!!
